HEY! I’M LOREENA
A free spirited photographer, and ADVENTURER, living full time on the road, mostly in British Columbia
I grew up in Alberta spending my days going on Sunday drives with my mom and dad. I fell in love with adventure from a young age. I left the comfort of studying to become an elementary teacher to pursue my dream of capturing couples in love in beautiful locations.
I am not a homebody in the least. I feel most at home while on the road in my Jeep, Freddie, exploring new locations all over the globe.
Some of my favourite activities are jamming to 80s music, collecting sea glass on the coast, hiking new trails, camping in the woods, reading a new romance or fantasy book. I love having fires with friends, exploring the backroads with my mom, and eating my weight in sushi.
I long for adventure, adore beautiful places and am in love with capturing love.

THIS IS SO MUCH MORE THAN A JOB FOR ME
IT’S IN MY GENES.
I think of my dad at every single wedding and photo session. My dad passed away suddenly when I was 11 leaving just my mom and I to become two peas in a pod. On all our trips together my dad would capture it all on his camera. Through his passing I learned just how important it is to capture memories. Photography is truly in my genes as my mom’s brother and my cousin are both professional automobile photographers as well.
I’ve since become the photographer of the family and it means so much to me. To be able to carry on my dad’s legacy is something so special.
IT’S WHAT PUTS A FIRE IN MY SOUL AND MAKES ME FEEL ALIVE.
I love love love anything to do with words. Speeches, private vows, etc. I’ve always connected so much to words and I never leave a wedding with a dry eye after hearing speeches from loved ones or couples that write their own vows.
As for shooting, I LIVE for those in between moments when couples forget they’re being photographed and I catch a real laugh or smile or just a look of pure love for each other.
